Fishing in Hurghada is a unique opportunity to add variety to your Egyptian vacation, spend your time meaningfully, and you can also enjoy snorkeling at a coral reef.

The main fishing spots are a short distance from the city. In the Hurghada area, fishing is prohibited on beaches, near coral reefs, and within the boundaries of the marine nature reserve. However, all other locations are open to tourists who want to immerse themselves in the exciting world of fishing.

Please note that fishing trips in Hurghada do not include trolling (towed fishing) and are not meant for professional fishermen. Fishing rods, tackle, and bait are provided for tourists. Fishing is done using the bottom fishing method, and there is every chance to hook both smaller and larger fish specialties of the Red Sea. Fish species living here include barracuda, sea bass, tuna, and many others.

What the program includes:

Transfer: at approx. 08:30 (the exact time will be provided after booking; the trip to the port takes 10-40 minutes depending on the hotel's location) 🚌

Departure: getting settled on the yacht and departure between approx. 09:30-10:00 (depending on permission from the tourist police) 🛥️

Two stops for bottom fishing: (depending on time, the catch can even be prepared on the yacht) 🎣

One stop for snorkeling at the reef 🤿

Lunch and drinks on the yacht: (various salads, rice, pasta, potatoes, nuggets, fish/meat sausages; cola, pepsi, water, tea, coffee) 🍔

Return to the port: at approx. 16:00 (the time may vary slightly) ⬅

Transfer within the Hurghada area 🚐

(El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh, and Makadi zone: +€10 surcharge round trip; Soma Bay and Safaga zone: +€20 surcharge round trip. The price is per booking for a round trip, for up to 6 people. The transfer can be a group transfer).

Participation is free for children up to 5 years old.

Additional information:

The capacity of the yachts is 20-40 people. The boats are spacious, there is room for everyone (the number of people is limited by the tourist police);
